Mais les exercices de Qi Gong se font aussi en solitaire et leurs bienfaits profitent au corps et \u00e0 l\u2019esprit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qu\u2019est-ce que le Qi Gong ? <\/strong><br \/>\nLe Qi Gong est une discipline th\u00e9rapeutique d\u2019approche holistique issue de la m\u00e9decine traditionnelle chinoise qui vise \u00e0 harmoniser et fortifier l\u2019\u00e9nergie vitale <em>Qi<\/em>. Cette pratique associe des formes de mouvements lents, des exercices de respiration et de concentration, des postures statiques, des m\u00e9ditations et des techniques d\u2019automassage. Ces exercices doux am\u00e9liorent la vitalit\u00e9 et l\u2019\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 et se composent de sept \u00e9l\u00e9ments\u00a0: relaxation, calme, naturel, mouvement, respiration, visualisation et son. Tous ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments ne font pas forc\u00e9ment partie de chaque exercice.<\/p>\n<p>De nos jours, il existe de nombreux styles de Qi Gong qui reposent sur les principes tao\u00efstes et bouddhistes en combinaison avec d\u2019autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments modernes. L\u2019institut de recherche sur le Qi Gong \u00e0 P\u00e9kin reconna\u00eet pr\u00e8s de cent \u00e9coles.<\/p>\n<p>Le terme <em>Qi Gong<\/em> est compos\u00e9 des id\u00e9ogrammes <em>Qi<\/em> (souffle, \u00e9nergie vitale) et <em>Gong<\/em> (travail, ma\u00eetrise). La notion de \u00ab travail \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0ma\u00eetrise de l\u2019\u00e9nergie vitale\u00a0\u00bb souligne l\u2019objectif ax\u00e9 sur la sant\u00e9 de cette pratique. Elle peut en effet r\u00e9tablir une circulation \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique perturb\u00e9e dans le corps ou fortifier et optimiser le flux \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique dans un but pr\u00e9ventif. C\u2019est cette action th\u00e9rapeutique qui relie le Qi Gong au Shiatsu. Les deux travaillent avec l\u2019\u00e9nergie vitale et r\u00e9gularisent le flux et la distribution du <em>Qi<\/em> dans l\u2019objectif d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 et d\u2019harmoniser le corps, l\u2019\u00e2me et l\u2019esprit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u2019\u00e9nergie vitale<\/strong><br \/>\nLes traditions de sant\u00e9 chinoise et japonaise reposent toutes deux sur le concept de l\u2019\u00e9nergie vitale (en chinois <em>Qi <\/em>et en japonais <em>Ki<\/em>), une force vivifiante qui circule dans tous les \u00eatres, la terre et tout l\u2019univers. Ce concept d\u2019une \u00e9nergie qui embrasse tout n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment pr\u00e9sent dans le monde occidental et est plut\u00f4t compris comme une id\u00e9e de l\u2019Extr\u00eame-Orient. Mais les syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 europ\u00e9ens connaissent \u00e9galement ce principe, or ils le d\u00e9crivent plut\u00f4t comme lumi\u00e8re, chaleur ou souffle. Dans l\u2019antiquit\u00e9, on comprenait sous <em>pneuma<\/em> le souffle vital, une force qui affecte les processus physiologiques. La m\u00eame id\u00e9e se trouve derri\u00e8re le concept du <em>souffle de Dieu <\/em>de la tradition jud\u00e9o-chr\u00e9tienne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Effets<\/strong><br \/>\nComme les exercices de Qi Gong agissent sur les fonctions du <em>Qi<\/em>, ils peuvent \u2013 en plus d\u2019une am\u00e9lioration g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la sant\u00e9 et du bien-\u00eatre \u2013 avoir un effet positif sur des domaines physiques et mentaux sp\u00e9cifiques. L\u2019effet r\u00e9gulateur sur le syst\u00e8me nerveux par exemple contribue \u00e0 une r\u00e9duction du stress et \u00e0 une am\u00e9lioration du syst\u00e8me immunitaire et donc des d\u00e9fenses naturelles de l\u2019organisme. Le fait de gagner en mobilit\u00e9 pour sa part peut soulager certains troubles et aider \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir les accidents. L\u2019exercice renforce les muscles, assouplit les articulations et harmonise la circulation lymphatique, sanguine et \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. Ainsi, les bienfaits du Qi Gong p\u00e9n\u00e8trent jusqu\u2019\u00e0 dans les organes\u00a0; les affections cardiaques, l\u2019hypertension, les probl\u00e8mes digestifs et les troubles du sommeil r\u00e9pondent bien \u00e0 une pratique r\u00e9guli\u00e8re. Enfin, le Qi Gong stimule aussi la perception et la conscience de soi indispensables au d\u00e9veloppement de la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 se relaxer et se concentrer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Que faut-il pour pratiquer ?<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nLe Qi Gong peut \u00eatre pratiqu\u00e9 sous forme de posture ou d\u2019encha\u00eenements de mouvements donn\u00e9s. Certains exercices se font en posture debout, d\u2019autres assis ou m\u00eame couch\u00e9. Les mouvements lents et doux du Qi Gong sont aussi accessibles aux personnes pr\u00e9sentant des limitations physiques. Des v\u00eatements confortables et un terrain plat qui permet d\u2019\u00eatre stable sont les seules conditions n\u00e9cessaires. Il est aussi possible de s\u2019entra\u00eener dehors.<\/p>\n<p>On peut pratiquer \u00e0 tout moment, mais il est particuli\u00e8rement b\u00e9n\u00e9fique de commencer la journ\u00e9e en faisant du Qi Gong le matin. Les bienfaits de l\u2019entra\u00eenement augmentent avec la dur\u00e9e de la pratique, cependant il ne faudrait pas s\u2019exercer jusqu\u2019\u00e0 \u00e9puisement. Les d\u00e9butant-e-s peuvent commencer avec une pratique de cinq \u00e0 dix minutes et augmenter la dur\u00e9e peu \u00e0 peu jusqu\u2019\u00e0 une heure. On peut pratiquer un encha\u00eenement de mouvements une ou plusieurs fois par jour si l\u2019on veut.<\/p>\n<p>Les noms des exercices qui sonnent inhabituels mais agr\u00e9ables aux oreilles des occidentaux sont souvent des descriptions po\u00e9tiques comme \u00ab les feuilles de lotus se balancent dans le vent \u00bb.
